Equestrian Promotion Sdn Bhd is Malaysia’s premier equestrian-industry service provider. Formed in 1995 it has been inextricably linked with the phenomenal development of equestrian sports in Malaysia.

Led by chairman Dato’ Mahamad Fathil Dato’ Mahmood, Equestrian Promotions has been at the forefront of equestrian sports in Malaysia. It signed an agreement with the Federation Equestre Internationale in 1996, and proceeded to organize the first ever South East Asian World Cup event in 1997. It has continued to host World Cup events at 3Q Equestrian and at other venues in Malaysia ever since.

Dato’ Fathil has been recognised for his services to the equine industry. In 1996 he was conferred the Anugerah Sukan Negara for his services to the sport. He chairs the Technical Committee of the Malaysian Equine Council, and to serve on the council of the Equestrian Association of Malaysia.

Quzier Ambak is the Managing Director of Equestrian Promotions. Quzier has been an icon in equestrian sports ever since he led Malaysia to a South East Asian Games gold medal in jumping in 1995. At the 1998 Asian Games he won an individual bronze medal, the highest placing ever by a Malaysian jumper in the Asian Games. Quzier combines a career of running Equestrian Promotions with his show jumping and polo competition careers. He also instructs and mentors developing athletes in the Athlete Development programmes.

Equestrian Promotions has pioneered and continues to organize some of Malaysia’s best international horse shows and tournaments, including the Malaysian Open, Merdeka Masters, 3Q Classic and Malaysian Open Polo Tournament.
